The East-West Company not only follows what’s new in haute cuisine, but also starts trends. (23 Narymskaya St., Novosibirsk) there will be a master class by the Japanese master chef Kyoshi Hayamitsu. The culinary gift of Mr. Hayamitsu is highly regarded not only in Japan but throughout Europe as well. In Germany Kyoshi Hayamitsu became known as the grand chef of the Daitokai Restaurant and JFC Restaurant, GmBH. His position as a permanent consultant to the TV programs ARD-Buffet, WDR Mitwochs Lives, and NDR Nordsee-Report has helped make Mr. Hayamitsu a real star. Kyoshi Hayamitsu is also in demand on the governmental level—in 1999 he became the master chef at the Group of Seven summit conference.
Thanks to his special energy and manner of presentation, Kyoshi Hayamitsu’s master classes are always passed successfully. Mr. Hayamitsu’s pedagogical gift has enabled him to write two books on Japanese cuisine, which have been successfully sold both in Japan and throughout Europe.
A Japanese character with European nuances—that’s what Kyoshi Hayamitsu’s style consists of. During the master class Mr. Hayamitsu will relate how to harmonize the two extremely dissimilar culinary styles and will demonstrate a technique for preparing proprietary dishes.
